Jesse Marsch - Red Bull Environment

Updated: Oct 24, 2020

Yesterday we were very fortunate to be joined by Red Bull Salzburg Head Coach, Jesse Marsch. He gave a remarkable insight into the environment that he created in New York with Red Bull and used videos to illustrate how he connected his messaging with visuals, along with an inside look into his meetings and how he planned his team culture. The biggest takeaway for me personally was Jesse's insight into the player development piece. He used Bradley Wright-Philips as an example to challenge this perception amongst coaches that development is something that is only exclusive to young players. Jesse explains how important it is to "create an environment where players actually want to get better"and how your older players are the best examples of this. I think this is also a sign of a great environment today and we can see with comments from players who have played with Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp. There is certainly a lot to take from this presentation and I cannot thank Jesse enough for coming on and sharing aspects into an elite environment that we don't often get a chance to see.

You can watch the a free trial of the presentation below. You can watch the full webinar as well as getting access to TWENTY THREE webinars that we did during the Lockdown by clicking here.
