On Sunday evening we were joined by Portimonense SC coach, Manuel Fonseca, to discuss the famous tactical methodology developed by Vitor Frade. Over 35 years ago Vítor Frade, a sports science professor from Porto University in Portugal, created a framework that has been adopted and implemented by some of the leading coaches in the world, including Jose Mourinho, André Villas-Boas, Brendan Rogers, Nuno Espírito Santo, Marco Silva, and Carlos Carvalhal. During this presentation, Manuel gives a unique insight into the implementation of the methodology and how a coach at both professional and youth level can take ideas and principles into their personal work.
