Throw-ins are one of the most common restarts in the game — often 25–45 per match — yet they remain one of the least intentionally coached moments in football.
 
In this webinar, Luis Swisher (U18/U19 Coach, St. Louis City SC) challenges the traditional view of throw-ins as “throwaways” and presents a principle-led framework for using attacking throw-ins to retain possession, progress up the pitch, and create genuine goal-scoring opportunities.
 
Rather than teaching predictable routines or rigid set plays, this session focuses on intentions, decision-making, and spatial awareness.
