MSC Youth Coaching Course: Developing Young, Brave, Decision Makers (Ages 6–12)

The MSC Youth Coaching Course is built for coaches who want to move beyond instruction and start developing real players. Too often, youth coaching becomes about control—telling players where to stand, when to pass, and how to play. But the modern game demands something different. It demands players who can think, adapt, and make decisions under pressure. This course will challenge how you see your role as a coach. Across each module, you’ll learn how to design sessions that develop intelligent, confident players. You’ll move from directing every action to creating environments where players solve problems for themselves. From understanding the type of player you’re trying to develop, to building high-intensity, engaging training sessions, to managing behavior on game day—every part of this course is designed to be practical, realistic, and immediately applicable. This is not about more drills. It’s about better coaching. If you’re working with players aged 6–12, this course will give you a clear framework to develop young, brave, decision-makers—players who are prepared for the demands of the modern game.
